Cole Morritauk

Cole first witnessed live printmaking in 2012 while working as a photojournalist in Washington DC. The subject of Cole's photography was a silkscreener, and by the end of that day the artist had broken both screens trying to keep up with a political march at the US Capitol. Inspired to find a more durable medium for live printmaking, Cole began using a linoleum block relief process to print punky patches for fun. Today, they invite you to join the conversation at our punky sewing circle in front of the Old Town Commercial Association!
